foundations of faith

Dairy ministry

Helping Spanish speaking workers and their families build strong lives on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

Therefore the Lord GOD said:

"Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, A SURE FOUNDATION;

the one who believes will be unshakable.

Isaiah 28:16 (CSB) emphasis added

Launched in 2015, Foundations of Faith was started to minister to the mostly Spanish speaking employees of dairies around Portales, New Mexico.  This is done through the sponsoring of chaplains for the dairies.  Our chaplains visit 30+ dairies on a weekly basis sharing the Good News by handing out water, serving food, praying with people, hosting Bible studies, and just being available to workers in times of need.

Job opening

seeking Chaplain

Foundations of Faith Dairy Ministry is looking for a bilingual chaplain who would primarily minister to the Spanish speaking workers at dairies, calf ranches, and other agriculture businesses in the Texas Panhandle/Eastern New Mexico area.

We are looking for an individual with a definite call to evangelism and ministry who has a heart to see the lost come to know Christ.

It would be perfectly acceptable to serve in a church at the same time.  An interest in church planting would also be a benefit.

Please pray

The situation during COVID-19 presented many challenges for our Chaplains, but with God's help we are moving forward with the dairy ministry.  Fortunately  our chaplains are back to  visiting the dairies and workers.    Please pray for them as they minister during these hard times.  Please also pray that more  dairy  owners open their doors and allow us to minister to the workers. And finally please pray for the workers to receive the good news we are bringing to them that Jesus is Lord!
